Living an Authentic Life

Journal Guide
Write whatever comes into your head.
If you don’t understand it, WRITE IT ANYWAY.
If it’s not a complete thought, WRITE IT ANYWAY.

When you've done this:
sit back, relax, close your eyes. Take three long, slow, deep breaths in and out.
- What pictures do you see in your mind’s eye?
- What thoughts or feelings come to you?
- Write it all down.
- Let the writing flow.
- Don’t consciously think about it, just write.

When you've done this:
think about what you’re feeling inside.
- Deep inside.
- Not what’s showing on the surface, but underneath that. Are these two different things?
- Close your eyes and take a minute to identify what’s going on underneath.
- Relax and let the feeling come to your consciousness.
- Notice where you can feel it in your body, and what it feels like.
- When you can feel something, try and describe it in your writing.
- When you have a description of the feeling, write about how the discovery of it has made you feel.
- What do you think could be behind that feeling?

Go through this guide every day before writing until you get used to the thought process.
This is very powerful
